I am the Executive Director of the Harvard-MIT Data Center (HMDC), Harvard University. I came to Harvard in May, 1995, working under the direction of Professor Gary King. the Director of the Data Center. A lot of exciting and good things have happened since in the Data Center. We have advanced from a data center that was based on manual and local LAN data distribution, to an automated World Wide Web based Virtual Data Center.
I have had great time here with world-class scholars, students, and staff. We have the opportunity to experiment and utilize the advanced information technology. Together, we are making the data center even better in serving our users in the Harvard and MIT communities.
